One of our favorite things to do is take a leisurely walk around Mirror Lake. The 2.7-mile loop offers stunning views of the foliage, especially during this season. As you stroll, you'll pass through Main Street, which is filled with charming local restaurants and unique shops. It's a perfect blend of nature and small-town charm that we absolutely love.

The Lake Placid Olympic Center is where the 1980 Olympics "Miracle on Ice" took place between the US and the Soviet Union! Jack grew up playing here with his best friends. You can walk around three different ice arenas and visit the Olympic Hall of Fame—fun fact, Jack's father is featured there!
The Rail Trail is a scenic, multi-use path perfect for walking, running, or biking. For a fun ride, you can rent bikes from Bike Lake Placid and explore the beautiful Adirondack scenery at your own pace.
