Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes, your kids are welcome to attend the wedding & reception! We are leaving it up to our guests if they would like to make it a family evening or a parents night out!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block reserved at the Penn Stroud Hotel, information on how to book your room is under the accommodations tab. If you decide to choose a different hotel or lodging accommodations, that is completely fine! However, keep in mind you can only access shuttle service to and from the venue at the Penn Stroud Hotel.

Are the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception in the same location? Where?

Answer

Yes, all events are being held at Brook Hollow Winery (594 NJ-94, Columbia, NJ 07832). The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside (we do have an alternative plan in case of inclement weather). Dinner and dancing will be in the barn, however guests have the freedom to hang outside during the reception as well (we'll have lawn games and firepits!)

Is there Shuttle Service?

Answer

There will be buses available for guests to take from The Penn Stroud to Book Hollow Winery (venue) and back. They will be school buses, you can't miss them! Buses will officially depart from The Penn Stroud at 4:10PM. Buses will position themselves at the entrance of the hotel on 7th Street. Buses will be at The Penn Stroud hotel and ready to pick up guests at 4/4:15pm. Ceremony starts at 5pm! Cocktail hour and reception to follow. Buses will depart from The Penn Stroud to the venue at 4PM. At the end of the night, buses will depart from the venue at 10PM and return to the hotel.

Dress Code?

Answer

The wedding is semi-formal. We will be on the lawn for the ceremony; ladies watch out for the stilettos! The wedding will be a mix of indoor and outdoor! We will be outside for the ceremony. Dinner and dancing will be inside the barn. In the event of inclement weather there is a complete indoor alternative for the ceremony.

Is there an after party?

Answer

Yes! After the reception we do have a private space reserved at Yard of Ale (across the street from The Penn Stroud). Continue to celebrate with us in their speakeasy!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the venue. There will be signage by the road to indicate to guests where they should go.

Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

Yes! Ceremony and cocktail hour are outside, weather permitting. Bring a coat or shawl if you tend to get cold easily! We will also have blankets available. The reception will take place in the barn where there is heating.
