There’s so much to see and do in the area that you could easily fill a weekend (or more!) with adventures. We recommend doing a bit of research to find what excites you most, but here are a few of our personal favorites to get you started.

The Beach

Our location offers convenient access to the beaches of Stone Harbor, Avalon, Wildwood, and Cape May, each with its own character. Stone Harbor and Avalon are ideal for a quiet, relaxing beach day; Wildwood is perfect for a traditional boardwalk experience; and Cape May features historic architecture, boutiques, and dining. Beach tags are not required before Memorial Day, so enjoy your fun in the sun!

Downtown Cape May

The Washington Street Mall is a charming outdoor shopping and dining area in the heart of Cape May. Stroll along the brick walkways to explore unique boutiques, local restaurants, and delicious ice cream parlors.

Cape May County Park & Zoo

The Cape May County Zoo is a local favorite featuring a wide variety of animals from around the world. Admission is free, and it’s a fun, family-friendly spot to explore during your stay!

Cape May Lighthouse

215 Lighthouse Avenue, Cape May Point State Park, NJ 08204

This park has great walking trails, sandy beaches, and popular birdwatching overlooks. You can also climb the 199 steps of the historic lighthouse overlooking the southern point of the state.

Cape May Winery & Vineyard

711 Town Bank Road, Cape May, NJ 08204

Cape May Winery offers beautiful vineyard views and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy local wines. Stop by for a tasting, a tour, or simply to unwind with a glass on their sunny patio.
