At times, the travel agent can get you the same-priced flights as you would find online. Having a travel agent is headache-free! If there is any flight cancellation or an issue, you can text the travel agent and let her handle it. She can also help you with the transportation arrangement from the airport to the hotel. Are there places I should avoid?
Answer
Rio is obviously a highly visited and very beautiful city. However, as in many other countries, there are some places you should avoid and things you should do a little differently than you would in California. We recommend avoiding the Favelas. When walking around, be cautious with your belongings, especially your phone. Do not leave items unattended. If you are careful with your surroundings and your belongings, you will be fine.

Be cautious when walking around. Don’t display expensive personal items. Avoid wearing valuable jewelry or watches. Don’t leave your belongings unattended on the beach. Ask your hotel concierge about safe areas near your accommodation.
