Our story began with many years of friendship, years filled with laughter, trust, and showing up for one another in the everyday moments. Matt was always a constant presence, caring and dependable (even doing Francesca’s taxes!), while Francesca brought steadiness and thoughtfulness. As friends, we knew each other’s hearts, strengths, and quirks, which made what came next both beautiful and a little scary. Our official first date was on October 22, 2020, at Seasons 52, coming out of the uncertainty of COVID times. Matt showed up dressed up…with an arm sling from surgery and a steak he couldn’t quite cut, but we spent endless hours talking, laughing, and discovering new sides of each other. That night started a new chapter, something had changed between us, but our friendship stayed strong, and we treasured the foundation we had built over so many years. Moving from friends to a relationship wasn’t easy. After so many years of knowing each other, taking that leap felt both exciting and scary. We quickly realized what we shared was real, deep, and worth the risk. Grounded in faith, shared values, and love for family and friends, we stepped forward together. What began as friendship has grown into a partnership filled with laughter, love, and gratitude. We are endlessly thankful for the journey that brought us here and excited to build a life together.
