Question
What's the dress code?
Answer
We're calling it "Beach Formal" - consider it a blend of Cocktail and Formal attire (see this link for more details: https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained). For men, jackets and ties are required. Ladies, we ask tea-length or longer on dresses. A snazzy jumpsuit or pantsuit is always more than welcome.

Is this a kids-free event?
Answer
Yes - to allow all guests (including parents!) an evening of relaxation, we please ask that guests are limited to those listed on the invitation. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

What about plus-ones?
Answer
Due to limited venue space, we are unable to accommodate any extra guests not named in the RSVP. Please contact us if you have any questions!

How's the weather down there in early October?
Answer
We're biased, but we think it's the best month! The temperature hovers around 80°F during the day, but it can drop into the 50s at night - Kyle says this is ideal golf weather, and Francesca says it's perfect for a cozy sweater and s'mores making! The ocean is still pretty warm, around 75°F, so a beach day is almost a requirement of your time down here :)

Will there be transportation provided?
Answer
We will provide shuttle service between the ceremony (beachfront) and 21 Main for the reception. We are not providing transportation between hotels and 21 Main, but Ubers and Lyfts are plentiful. If you choose to stay at North Beach Resort (our recommendation), you'll be on-site!

Are there hotel blocks available?
Answer
We aren't able to offer exclusive hotel blocks, but we left some recommendations on our travel page. Our top choice is North Beach Resort & Villas, because it sits on the same property as our venue. There are plenty of hotels and other accommodations (home rentals, Airbnb, etc) in North Myrtle Beach, so feel free to choose whatever suits your needs!

How quickly do I need to book travel?
Answer
October is the official start to "slow-er" season in NMB - there are still plenty of vacationers around, but the high-volume traffic of summer is well past. If you're looking for a larger condo or house, we recommend booking sooner rather than later, but smaller hotel rooms and condos should be readily available. Flights into MYR airport are available all-year round, but they do operate on a condensed schedule starting in October.

Do I need to rent a car?
Answer
While Uber and Lyft are available, we recommend renting a car if you're staying for a few days.

Can I stay at Lola's Cabana?
Answer
No, Lola's Cabana will be occupied by Lola and her humans for the wedding!
