Maid of Honor
The last time Harrison and Frannie stepped foot in Sara’s house, they counted at least 50 different forms of gnomes: one in the backyard, providing safe passage from the house to the garage, at least 12 in the bathroom all dressed in holiday themed decor, and at least 10 on the matching pajamas that she shares with Frannie’s favorite niece, Violet. Sara is the jackpot of big sisters—not only did she change Frannie’s diapers as a child, but she also served as her role model, mentor, and the person whose clothes Frannie stole growing up. Fun fact: Frannie wanted so desperately to be like her big sister that she used to steal Sara's journals to copy her handwriting. Frannie is not sure if Sara knows about this, but now she does... Today, Sara is the best mom and an equally accomplished trusts and estates attorney (Frannie still calls Sara every March to ask for help on her taxes, only to be told that is, in fact, not what Sara does for work). Frannie still hopes one day she grows up to be just like her big sis!
Best Man
Adam, Harrison’s brother and best man, is a man of strong convictions. He will tell you without hesitation that "It’s a Wonderful Life" is the single greatest film ever made, that the Toyota RAV4 represents the peak of human engineering, and that no party playlist can top a John Denver cassette. He might be the only person under 80 to hold any one of these opinions—much less all three. Born just 11 months apart, the two grew up doing almost everything together, with not a single argument to speak of (right, Mom?). Instead, they lived in what Harrison calls “a loop of collaboration.” Adam expanded Harrison’s vocabulary with the colorful words he learned at Boy Scout camp. Harrison, in turn, introduced Adam’s laptop to a tasteful new desktop background—an artful photo of Harrison’s own backside. Harrison would “help” Adam with his Halloween candy (mercifully leaving the raisins), while Adam would nobly champion household justice by reporting each of these dessert-related crimes—and more—to their parents. Harrison likes to think these formative years shaped Adam into the man he is today: not only a fellow Jaguars fanatic with an equal-parts-impressive-and-unsettling ability to recite his top 50 favorite songs from memory, but also a brilliant medical student, a man of unwavering integrity, a fantastic brother, and Harrison’s best friend. As Harrison will tell you, he takes any comparison made to his brother as the highest form of compliment.
Bridesmaid
From the moment they met, Emma and Frannie clicked instantly and have been inseparable ever since. The two have a lot in common — they have a shared sweet tooth and affinity for unique flavors (think: lemon lavender ice cream), they’re midwestern girls with a soft spot for the south, and they’ve both fallen in love with Snowden boys. Emma is the type of friend who secretly figures out your favorite flavor of cake and then bakes it for you for your birthday. She’s the type of soon-to-be sister who checks in with you throughout the day just because she’s thinking of you. An audiologist by day, and expert painter, aspiring marathoner and devoted dog mother by night, Emma is the type of person who can truly do it all. The two are both greatly looking forward to their shared honeymoon in Mexico — though they asked Harrison and Adam if we could all share one room but they said no :(

Before Harrison met Alex, he kept hearing the same thing: “He’s good at literally everything.” When they finally met, Harrison quickly confirmed two things: (1) Alex shares Frannie’s wonderfully goofy sense of humor, and (2) he is, maddeningly, good at literally everything. He will out-golf you, out-code you, and then demolish you and your entire family at the board game of your choice. Anything else you can think of—from playing the harp to Irish step dancing—Alex can probably do that too, and do it well. If you’ve ever seen those YouTube videos of 2-year-old prodigies flawlessly playing a Beethoven sonata, drilling a 60-yard field goal, or solving a Rubik’s Cube while riding a unicycle—that’s basically Alex. But perhaps his most impressive skill is his culinary prowess. When Frannie and Harrison lived in New York, Alex and his girlfriend Hannah (bridesmaid) would host them for unbelievable Sunday dinners—for which Harrison attributes the latest 2 inches of his waistline. What’s truly remarkable, though, is that despite being exceptional at so many things, Alex remains one of the most humble, down-to-earth, and fun-to-be-around people Harrison has ever met. Harrison is excited to gain a new brother in Alex, even if it means listening every fall to how THIS year is really the Chicago Bears’ year.
Bridesmaid
Caroline is the only person Frannie trusts to whip up a flawless chocolate torte and remove a suspicious mole from her skin —probably simultaneously. She has the brainpower of a Nobel laureate (dibs on her helping our future kids dominate the Pre-K science fair) and the pastry prowess of a Michelin-starred chef. She’s basically the Midas of baking—everything she touches turns into ooey, gooey, chocolatey gold. Caroline is also an avid reader — who devours approximately one book per minute, literally — and she genuinely enjoys horror movies, a fact Frannie learned the hard way after inadvertently signing up for a horror movie marathon with her. Caroline is thoughtful, generous, and hands-down one of the most impressive women Frannie has ever met. She feels incredibly lucky to call Caroline her sister-in-law—and just as lucky to have guaranteed access to her baked goods at every holiday from here on out.

Jordan is Harrison’s favorite and only brother-in-law (soon to be tied with Alex and Jordan S.), having been married to Harrison’s only sister (see: Caroline Myers) since 2022. Jordan was Harrison’s original guide into the riveting world of options trading; during neighborhood jogs, Jordan (former Princeton track star and sole Snowden family athlete) patiently explained delta hedging as Harrison wheezed along behind. He bravely endures the Snowden family group chats, has been a patient and trusted source of fashion pointers and great life and career advice, and is the proud dad of Harrison’s special canine nephews, Eddie and Boop. Though Harrison is grateful for the wonderful friend Jordan is to him and the doting husband he is to Caroline, Harrison best knows and appreciates Jordan for introducing him to what some may call the greatest culinary discovery of the 21st century: the Au Cheval burger. This has since earned Jordan the nickname “the Burger King”. If you see him at the wedding, make sure you shoot him finger guns and say “have it your way!” He loves it!

Hannah threw Frannie the most epic birthday bash in her 26 years: Franstretchka, a Zoom Pilates party during COVID that brought many of Frannie’s friends, isolated in their dorm rooms, together. Hannah is extremely dedicated and committed to everything she does — from her work as a dancer (check out her perfectly pointed toes) to her commitment to helping people feel good and healthy through movement. Her warmth, thoughtfulness, and listening skills make her a true gem. Hannah’s love language is keeping your posture in check — so remember to sit up straight during the wedding ceremony! Whether she’s motivating Frannie to stand taller or offering unwavering support, Hannah’s the friend who lifts everyone up. Frannie’s grateful for her creativity and heart, and she’s pretty sure Hannah’s already planning a wedding-day stretching session to keep the bridal party aligned.

The first thing Harrison came to appreciate about Jordan, Frannie’s sister’s husband and Harrison’s future brother-in-law, was that they shared an oddly specific passion: spreadsheets—massive, impeccably formatted, obsessively detailed, and wildly elaborate. Whether planning big events, budgeting for a wedding, mapping out home payments, or planning a trip to the grocery store, Jordan might be the only person on Earth who can match Harrison’s enthusiasm for a well-placed pivot table. But Jordan’s talents extend far beyond spreadsheet sorcery. He is generous with his time in a way that borders on heroic. Quite possibly the only man in history to actually read the “Terms and Conditions,” Jordan has reviewed every big contract Harrison and Frannie have been handed—he patiently combs through the fine print, returns with thoughtful notes, and, if you’re really lucky, throws in a nifty color-coded key. The more time Harrison has spent with Jordan, the more layers he’s discovered—he’s an impressive mixologist, has a quiet yet sharp and hilarious sense of humor, and most importantly, is a devoted dad to his adorable daughter, Violet (Harrison’s favorite niece!).

Here are excerpts from Frannie Block’s childhood journal, age 6: - January 13, 2005: I love Leah cat because I like. Shes so nice - February 17, 2005: I like Leah b cuz I like her so much - March 10, 2005: I love Leah becus she is suw cu cisl (meaning unclear) All is still true today! From days at the water park or time on an AYSO soccer team (go penguins!) to dinners at Sushi Kushi Too or gorging on greasy Chinese food, Leah and Frannie have been part of each others’ lives since they were four years old. And though Frannie still cannot understand why Leah doesn’t like chocolate, she knows Leah will continue to be a friend for life.

Documented descriptions of Harrison and Samin’s friendship include: “pretty much inseparable,” “like an old married couple, minus the marriage,” and “weirdly close, but in a good way.” They met freshman year of college, but it wasn’t until junior year that they bonded over the sacred trifecta: procrastinating homework with video games, a sudden interest in the gym, and a deep-rooted love for the South. Since then, they’ve done just about everything together—from traversing through Europe and Alaska (with their good friend Andrew in tow) to attending 10 Luke Combs concerts. Samin was even there within minutes of Harrison’s proposal—because of course he was. Need someone to blast Morgan Wallen on a long drive? To trek 45 minutes just for some Chick-Fil-A? Someone who texts “I think I’ll fly to Florida today” and is on your couch that night? Samin is that guy-- he’ll show up, probably with an iced coffee in hand. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better person or friend. Samin's only weakness is his inexplicable affinity for the Georgia Bulldogs. While the friendship has survived thus far, the matter is subject to annual review.

Frannie has attended not one, not two, but at least 16 different Barbie themed birthday parties in her life — thanks entirely to Daniella Cohen. Daniella and Frannie have known each other since they were two and three years old — just little toddlers who met on the ice and shared a love for sequined costumes. They’ve been by each other's sides ever since, from elementary school hallways all the way to Princeton and beyond. It was Daniella who taught Frannie the importance of sunscreen, the value of the C-floor at Firestone Library, and the trick to travel with at least one dark chocolate bar in your purse at all times for snack emergencies. These days, you can catch the two of them back on the ice together at Chelsea Piers — where their tricks may not be as impressive as they once were, but they’re still having just as much fun.

If you ever need a Google-Maps-quality hand-drawn map of a random location from memory — down to which side of the street has better parking — your first and only call should be Frankie Lukens. Harrison first heard whispers of Frankie in sixth grade, when the student grapevine spoke about “the nice new genius boy from Texas” and “the future president of the United States” (still pending). The two didn’t officially meet until middle school band, where Frankie mastered the clarinet while Harrison struggled with the French horn. They’ve been tight ever since: visiting each other in college, surviving a COVID semester together in Asheville, and bonding over their shared love of Jacksonville. Most recently, Frankie spent a few years studying abroad in Oxford, casually absorbing centuries of knowledge and also, presumably, a working tea vocabulary. Fortunately, he has now returned stateside to attend law school in Miami, where he can put both to use by drafting airtight contracts for beachfront tea shops. Frankie is even kinder than he is brilliant — a ranking that should be mathematically impossible — and it is one of many reasons Harrison looks up to him. Though moving to Miami certainly beats living in England, Harrison has informed Frankie that an oath to return to Jacksonville would win him a few bonus friendship points. His decision, like his presidency, is still pending.
Bridesmaid
Julia and Frannie went on a total of one runs together in college — during which Julia lapped Frannie three separate times before they reunited and both walked back to their shared Senior year dorm room together. Julia has grit like no other, evidenced by the fact that she has run THREE marathons (watch out, Boston!), and just completed her masters degree (watch out, world!). Together, Julia and Frannie love to go on walks in the park or eat pizza on the couch while watching the Era’s Tour Movie on repeat. When together, if they’re not singing along to every word of Taylor Swift or the Jonas brothers, they’re probably laughing uncontrollably while watching the next episode of Netflix’s newest reality TV show.

Only 13% of Princeton freshmen stick together all four years — Harrison and Joe were lucky enough to be among them. Between study sessions, Call of Duty marathons, dining hall meals, runs, and the occasional good-natured political debate, Harrison realized Joe belongs to the rarest category of friend: the kind who will put others first, even on his own biggest days. (Also the kind who can introduce you to the best bagels in NYC, but that seemed less relevant here). It could be Joe’s graduation weekend or his birthday, and somehow you’ll still find Joe asking you all about your life and celebrating your wins. Their friendship has spanned escape rooms, axe-throwing bars, and family visits in both upstate New York and the vastly superior state of Florida. They don’t see each other as often as Harrison would like (thanks, geography), but they always pick up exactly where they left off. Recently, though, Joe tested the limits of their bond by jetting off to Lithuania on a scholarship, earning an official warning from the Harrison Friendship Council. The United States — and Harrison — need him back, preferably within a three-hour drive and absolutely not anywhere that requires currency conversion.
Bridesmaid
Lindsay Jarger was perhaps Frannie’s first roommate in life — from sharing a bunk during summers training in Lake Arrowhead, California and Colorado Springs to too many sleepovers back home to count. Growing up as neighbors, the duo operated a very successful lemonade stand (though their most loyal customers turned out to be their parents) and wreaked havoc on the playground. The pair have a lot in common: from their shared silly senses of humor to their love of the color purple (Both Lindsay and Frannie’s childhood bedrooms were dubbed “purple palaces”). When Frannie broke her leg in 2009, Lindsay was there by her side every step of the way. Lindsay even helped Frannie go to the bathroom when the cast going all the way up to her hip made it impossible for her to go by herself. That kind of friendship never leaves you!

Harrison first met Zuri in fifth grade, but initially knew him only as the name by which Zuri introduced himself to Harrison and the entire 5th grade class: “the Supreme Ruler of the Universe." It was a title which Zuri quickly dropped for the sake of his social life, but which Harrison will not soon let him forget. He and Harrison quickly became close friends – what began as hanging out after school and sharing Boy Scouts campouts in elementary school led to braving Mr. Hillier’s physics class in high school and visiting each other in college. Zuri is also one of the reasons that Harrison and Frannie are together—when he and Frankie came to visit Harrison at Princeton, Harrison tried to get out of giving a tour while his friends were in town. It was this tour, referred to in the “Our Story” section, that Frannie offered to substitute for him. Zuri is one of the funniest guys Harrison knows, and even despite some of his questionable decisions—like spontaneously running a marathon with almost no training—he is one of Harrison’s smartest, most genuine, and best friends. Now living in Jacksonville near Harrison, he’s become the ultimate Jacksonville guide, always ready to show Harrison the best local spots (looking at you, Ginger’s Place).
Bridesmaid
Frannie and Anna bonded over time spent in their shared 200 square foot Freshman year dorm room that looked like a castle but didn’t have any AC— where they stayed up too late either studying, watching silly TV shows, or gossiping about anything and everything. Anna, who hails from Norway, loves math (she once spent twenty minutes explaining to Frannie what made math equations “beauitful”), cross country skiing, and going on solo bike trips across Europe. Anna is the only person in the universe who could convince Frannie to train for a half-marathon (though Frannie did not complete the race, she did train for half of it and actually enjoyed it). Anna has an adventurous spirit that’s contagious, outweighed only by her thoughtfulness and big heart.

The terms “brilliant engineer” and “people magnet” rarely coexist — unless you’ve met Luis Trejo. Harrison and Luis’s friendship began in high school Spanish class, where Luis admired Harrison’s fluent command of such advanced phrases as “Mi español es muy good-o” and “Mi llamo es Harrison.” Strangely enough, Luis has declined Harrison's offers for subsequent Spanish pointers, tips, and tricks. Though their college experiences diverged slightly — Harrison perfected the art of eating ice cream pints in his bedroom, while Luis trained for triathlons —their friendship has only strengthened since high school, fueled by a shared appreciation for politically incorrect humor, frequent phone calls (Luis being a rare master of the "just checking in" dial), and ongoing campaigns to lure the other into visiting. Last year, Harrison had the honor of standing beside Luis as he married the love of his life — a day that confirmed Luis’s exceptional taste in people extends well beyond his friends. Luis is Harrison’s go-to for Borat marathons and humbling pickleball defeats, and a moral compass that sets the gold standard for what a friend should be.

If you look around the wedding and happen to see someone in the corner snacking on mustard with a spoon, it’s going to be one of two people: the groom or Sahar. (Yes, she really does that. No, I don’t understand it either.) A growth equity investor by day and an aspiring actress / party-planning extraordinaire by night, Sahar is one of the warmest, most generous, and easiest people in the world to be around. With the ambition of a CEO and the sweet tooth of a seven-year-old, she’s the kind of person who’ll make 20 new friends at a party and then hand out carefully curated snack bags on the way out. Frannie feels incredibly lucky to have her in her corner—whether she needs a pep talk, a perfect lemon tart, or someone to remind her which West Village bakery is open past 10.

Recently, Harrison discovered that Connor is actually trilingual: fluent in “AI Nerd,” “History Buff,” and “Frat Boy.” In fact, no matter who you are or what fascinates you, Connor can speak your language. There’s never been a person with whom he can’t connect, and it’s no wonder that he’s among the most universally well-liked people Harrison knows. He's infectiously positive, uniquely genuine, and the world's fiercest defender of 100% Pure Vermont Maple Syrup. In just a year and a half, Connor has gone from a new acquaintance to one of Harrison’s closest friends. Some of Harrison’s fondest memories from the past few years are skiing with Connor in Vermont (well, kind of… Harrison “pizza”-ed down the bunny hill while Connor did tricks down the hardest double-blacks) and spending time with Connor and other good friends on a boat during the 4th of July. Though Connor is now making waves in California’s AI startup scene and working on cool projects that Harrison surely doesn't understand, Harrison can't wait for more shared memories ahead.

Things to know about Rachel: her favorite food is cantaloupe, she is a member of a competitive backgammon league, she throws the BEST boardgame parties, and her favorite activity in New York City is the math museum. It’s really hard to find a friend like Rachel. Beyond her incomparable smarts and fun-loving spirit, Rachel is a loyal friend always up for a new adventure (but never take her rock climbing — the scar on her knee will tell you why). She’s also extremely resilient, whether it's making the most out of her time recovery from a torn ACL or finally trying to get up on a wakeboard (Frannie counted at least 20 attempts, and the determination on her face would tell you all you need to know). Rachel’s an amazing listener and offers the best advice, and she’s the only person who knows less about Gen-Z pop culture than Frannie.

If you could genetically hybridize a Golden Retriever, Rafael Nadal, and the movie script to "Borat," the result would look something like Ryan Thompson (though certainly far less handsome). Ryan and Harrison’s friendship dates back to middle school, the very short-lived era when Harrison could still outmatch Ryan on the tennis court. Those days are long gone. Now, as a former D1 athlete and aspiring pro, Ryan can beat Harrison blindfolded, left-handed, hopping on one leg, and probably while ordering a smoothie between serves. Tennis has taken Ryan across the country and around the world, giving him the passport stamps to prove it. Whether he’s fresh off a clay court in Spain or just back from a tournament in some town you’ve never heard of, he’s one of the most interesting people Harrison has ever talked to. Yet Ryan is an even better friend than he is an athlete—with a larger-than-life personality and an innate ability to brighten any room, Ryan is the type of guy to make you roll over laughing at one moment and at your front door at 2 a.m. the next if you need him. The only thing he won’t do is let you return one of his serves.

When Frannie moved to Des Moines, Virginia quickly became her first friend. The two formed a book club — which was them plus JM, Virginia’s now-fiance. Virginia always read the book and showed up each week armed with fascinating ideas and thoughtful questions. Frannie, on the other hand, didn’t always remember to read, but she always provided the cheese board. Their friendship solidified when Virginia introduced Frannie to one of the greatest experiences of her adult life: A Harry Potter movie marathon. The two are both probably Hufflepuffs, but like to think they could be Gryffindors. When not chasing down stories about all the ins and outs of Des Moines City Government, you can find Virginia on the rock climbing wall or hiking in a national park. She’s a Florida girl with a big heart for the midwest, and you’d be hard pressed to find a kinder, more loyal friend.
Bridesmaid
You can probably find Noelle cozied up in a corner booth at a swanky basement jazz club, sipping on a French 75 (the bride’s favorite cocktail, too) and talking to at least a dozen brand new friends. If not there, she’s probably at a local farmer’s market, picking up some fresh vegetables and a gorgeous piece of vintage art while on a walk with her dog Luna, who only tolerates very specific people (Frannie is proud to be one of them). Frannie and Noelle bonded over their shared breaking news job in Des Moines — where they accompanied each other to crime scenes and shared sunscreen and corndogs while out reporting in the heat of the Iowa State Fair. Noelle is down-to-earth and the type of friend who is always down for a fun new adventure and a good time. She has a heart of gold and an eye for a great story — catch her today in the pages of the Kansas City Star!
