WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Frances and Walter met in 2015 while working at a Fossil watch store. Frances had just started college at Johnson & Wales University, and Walter's family had relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina from Rochester, New York a few years prior. Walter met Frances during her first shift at work, and he trained her on how to repair watches. From there, a friendship blossomed. Unbeknownst to either of them, Frances and Walter already had a hidden connection. Walter had been a percussionist in a jazz band for her brother-in-law's father, Tyrone Jefferson! Frances and Walter developed a close relationship for three years until November 2018 when they finally made it official. Since then, Frances and Walter have traveled together, moved into their first apartment, and introduced their black labradoodle, Zoro, to the family. In May of 2023, Walter planned to travel with Frances and her family to Boston for her sister Abby’s graduation. Walter planned a surprise proposal and got down on one knee on May 12, 2023, at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. A perfect proposal for an art lover. Nine years after they met, they are finally embarking on a new, exciting journey together: marriage. Frances and Walter cannot wait to celebrate with you in Charlotte!
