This is Maryland's beautiful capital located on the Chesapeake Bay. It has lovely 18th-century brick houses and a vibrant downtown area lined with waterfront restaurants and shops.
This is one of our favorite places in the D.C. area, and we go there very often! It's about 40 miles from the wedding venue. It's a small town with restaurants and shops lining its waterfront.
This charming town has numerous small shops, antique stores, the Academy Art Museum, and restaurants.
There are several fun things to do right on Kent Island. Stevensville has a cute historic district, and the Paul Reed Smith (PRS) guitar factory is right down the road. https://www.visitmaryland.org/list/top-things-to-do-stevensville For super-casual good eats El Salvador style, check out Pupuseria Stevensville (we love the pupusa loca): https://www.yelp.com/biz/pupuseria-kent-island-restaurant-stevensville There's also Cult Classic Brewery. We haven't had the beer yet, but the space is nice (and abundant): https://www.cultclassicbrewing.com/
