While Frances had seen Matthew at the 10am mass at IC, she knew nothing about him (other than that one time her mom went to choir practice and came home excited about a "cute young man in choir"). A few months later, Frances' mom chatting with choir friend Christy and suggested that they set up Frances with Matthew. Frances was supposed to go to choir practice to meet him, but decided to skip and instead told Christy to give Matthew her number--without much hope that it would actually go anywhere. Matthew ended up texting her anyway and they talked for two weeks while he was away at the Mostly Modern Festival in New York. They finally went on their first date when he returned and the rest is history . . .
