Question

When should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM at the Cathedral of Christ the King, so please try to come and be seated by 1:45 PM!

When and where is the reception? Is it indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception will be held at Summerour Studio. The cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 PM outdoors (weather permitting), and the remainder of the reception will be held indoors at 5:30 PM.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What should I do in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The reception venue is close to West Midtown, which is full of restaurants, bars, and shopping to make the hour go by quickly. We recommend JCT Kitchen and Donetto for cocktails and Atlantic Station for any last-minute shopping needs. We also recommend coming to the reception hungry—hors d'oeuvres will be served at the cocktail hour!

Is there parking available at the venues?

Answer

Yes—the Cathedral has a sizable parking deck located across Peachtree Way NE, and valet service is available at the reception. However, we recommend using Uber or Lyft to the extent possible, as driving in Atlanta can be a nightmare (even on the weekends).

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formalwear (black tie)—long dresses and gowns for women and tuxedos for the men.

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

Can we take photos? Is there a wedding hashtag?

Answer

We respectfully request that you refrain from taking photographs during the wedding ceremony, but gladly welcome photos during the reception! Our wedding hashtag is #SanFranChriscoe.
