Here is a Dougherty family favorite for iced tea, coffee, cookies, or breakfast/lunch!
Pitango has great harbor views, and kick-ass coffee and sandwiches on croissants as well as focaccia. Would recommend!
There's plenty of good drinking here in Baltimore, and Brewer's is on the list. They have a fancy food dining option and also just low-key beer and bar food.
If you're looking for lots of lunch or dinner options in one place, in walking distance from Hotel Indigo, this is for you. It is a food hall with a variety of choices. We are loyal to the Brown Rice spot, which is like Korean-inspired food, Chipotle style.
The BEST ice cream in town is by Taharka Brothers. It is well worth a trip to check out their stall at this fun food hall in Remington. Honey Graham is a personal favorite and worth asking to try, even if you end up ordering something else.
For anyone who wants to get a good sweat going, this is the local indoor rock climbing gym. It is a Kerrigan favorite, with beginner climbs and day passes for anyone who wants to try it out. If you make the journey up there, you will be close to a little coffee shop, Vent, and a brewery and pizza place, Union, all in a big old warehouse.
Busboys is a DC fixture that has recently branched out into the Charles Village area in Baltimore. It has a big space, lots of tables, and serves a mean stack of sweet potato pancakes for breakfast.
Counter service breakfast that rocks. Staffing is hit or miss, so worth calling before heading out.
Free museum in walking distance from the Indigo.
Quirky, inimitable Baltimore style art museum.
This is a beautiful park. Dog lovers will be thrilled to see dozens of pups being taken on walks, seemingly at all hours of the day. There's an ice cream store, Bmore Licks, on perimeter of the park.
Very sweet little cafe with pasta and sandwiches for lunch.
