Kendrick and Frances met in the parking lot of her VCU sophomore dorms in 2005. After remaining friends, Kendrick flew to Portland and Frances took him to a Knicks game and a tour of Seattle, WA. They have been inseparable since.

On an adventurous and very spare of the moment trip, Kendrick and Frances took the next train out from Germany, into Paris for a getaway in December 2017. 

Kendrick proposed on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, over an elegant dinner for two.
