Best Man
Ernest is Eddie’s older brother and his best Man. They have known each other since LITERALLY the day Eddie was born. While they didn’t manage to kill each other during their childhood, and it certainly wasn’t for lack of trying, they now as adults enjoy a close relationship. He is currently a project Manager for BP and lives outside of Seattle, WA with his wife Joy, and their son Vin. Outside of being a husband and father, Ernest enjoys hunting, and shopping at Cabelas.
Devin Saunders
Maid of Honor
Devin Is Frances’s Maid of Honor. Frances and Devin first met in July 2009 at the Texas Tech Red Raider orientation when Devin got miserably sick and needed an escort to the student health center. They’ve maintained their friendship across three states, two foot surgeries, one acquisition of a rabbit, and so very much more. She can’t wait for Frances to be married so she’s officially “someone else’s problem” (Tm). Devin is currently an Neuroscience Ph.D. student, likes a good rye whiskey, expensive coffee, and cats of all sizes and varieties. She’s known the groom since 2011 and was part of The Plot to set them up.
Bianca Sasser
Groomswoman
Bianca has the distinction of serving as Groomsmate. She and Eddie met in 2013 both working towards a Master’s of Sociology at Texas Tech University. As one of the few people Bianca could stand in their cohort, she and Eddie became close friends, which they have maintained through Eddie’s two moves out of state. Currently she works at Texas Tech University in Animal Care Services as a Research Compliance Specialist. Bianca is a talented artist, and an excellent sarcastic romance novel reader.
Maggie Stack
Bridesmaid
Margaret is one of Frances’s Bride’s Maids. Margaret (Maggie) and Frances first met in 2016 at the University of Connecticut’s History Department Welcome Weekend. They would not, however, become close friends until 2017 when Maggie graciously offered to share her dungeon (basement) office. In addition to her professional and personal interest in all things boats, Maggie is an avid seamstress, and has (over the years) obtained an eclectic trivia knowledge base. “Are you there god? It’s me. Margaret.”
Mark Cauble
Groomsman
Mark Cauble is the last of Eddie’s groom’s people. He is married to Eddie’s younger sister, Emily. Mark graduated from San Angelo State University with a B.A. in history and works for EOG Resources. Outside of work, Mark is an avid CrossFitter, enjoys traveling, cooking, being with his friends and family, and (according to his wife) likes talking long walks on the beach and smelling flowers.
Allison Pain
Bridesmaid
Alison and Frances have been friends since 2004 when Alison moved from Georgia to Spring Branch, TX where they both were in the Clarinet section at Spring Branch Middle School. Alison and Frances became close friends in high school due in part to the trials and tribulations of Marching Band, and have maintained their friendship for over ten years since graduation in 2009. Dr. Pain is a Family medicine practitioner in the Greater Houston area. When she isn’t doctoring, Alison is an avid runner and biker, and she plans to run a marathon in every National Park.
