Accommodations

Tucson Botanical Gardens is located in central Tucson. Guests wishing to stay near the venue may find Airbnb/VRBO rentals to be the best option. Popular neighborhoods in the area include the Garden District, Blenman Elm, and Sam Hughes. The area around the University of Arizona and Downtown Tucson is fun and lively. Guests wishing to stay farther afield may want to consider staying in northwest Tucson (areas like Catalina Foothills, Oro Valley and Casas Adobes) or on the east side of town (near Houghton Road), which can offer beautiful views and easy access to the desert and mountains. Tucson is a truly lovely city and is generally very safe, but some neighborhoods have rough reputations. Make sure to read reviews of hotels/rental properties before booking, and feel free to reach out to Frances or Collin with any questions regarding specific areas of town. We hope you enjoy your visit to the Old Pueblo!

Travel Note

Air Travel

Tucson International Airport (TUS) is the closest and easiest airport, located 30 minutes from the venue. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) offers more opportunities for direct flights and is a 2 hour drive from the venue (not including the notorious traffic on I-10).

Travel Note

Ground Transportation

Rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) and rental cars are easy to access at the Tucson airport and around town. Tucson has an excellent streetcar system which loops through the University of Arizona and Downtown Tucson. Otherwise, public transportation is limited.
