Yep, you read it right! This is a castle that can be found in the center of downtown Mexico City, at the top of a hill. This castle has been around since 1785 and since then it has serve many purposes, until it finally became a museum in 1939. Highly recommend visiting this castle/history museum to learn a little more about Mexico.
These bohemian, walkable neighborhoods are right next to each other and are some of the best places to stay in Mexico City, in my opinion. Here you’ll find beautiful tree-lined streets, boutique storefronts, and a great food scene!
Super chic luxury area with designer stores and tree-lined streets.
If you have some time, check out Coyoacan! This area has restaurants and bars found on the square and an artisanal market. One of my many favorite museums is located here, Frida Kahlo’s house. Make sure you get your tickets in advance as it is a popular museum and tickets do sell out!
