WE ARE NO LONGER HAVING A WEDDING PARTY!

Well, technically we were both attending a physical therapy conference called Graham Sessions in Austin, TX. I was attending to speak on why I was NOT a member of the APTA (oops), while everyone else was very much involved in APTA. Despite being a "black sheep", everyone was very welcoming. I arrived Friday evening. After dinner a group of PT's ended up going out dancing. That is where we first really noticed each other. Seeing how comfortable we both were on the dance floor, it was only a matter of time before Dom asked me to dance. That night we stayed up talking until 2am (I had to speak at 8am the next morning), and we knew... this was something very unique. Needless to say, 3 weeks later, he came out to LA for a visit. Two weeks after that he came back for my birthday, met my family and friends, and we've been together ever since. We are your walking cliche of "When you know, you know." But I guarantee we only knew that because we were both committed to growth on ourselves, to being open on exactly who we are and what we want, and we both share the same core values as to who we are and what we want as a partnership. I feel so blessed to have met my partner and I can't wait to do this life together. Thanks for being a part of our celebration and our new adventure together!
