The High Line

The High Line is a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan's West Side. Saved from demolition by neighborhood residents and the City of New York, the High Line opened in 2009 as a hybrid public space where visitors experience nature, art, and design. As the High Line is a public park it is free of charge.

The 9/11 Memorial is a tribute of remembrance and honor. The 9/11 Memorial is located at the site of the former World Trade Center complex. The Memorial’s twin reflecting pools are each nearly an acre in size and feature the largest man-made waterfalls in North America. The Memorial Pools are free of charge. Museum tickets can be purchased through the website or at the Museum.

Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum

Launched in 1943, the aircraft carrier Intrepid fought in World War II, surviving five kamikaze attacks and one torpedo strike. The ship later served in the Cold War and the Vietnam War. Intrepid also served as a NASA recovery vessel in the 1960s. Intrepid was decommissioned in 1974. Today, Intrepid is berthed on the Hudson River as the centerpiece of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Please use the website for ticket information.
