Where are we from?

Answer

Erin grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Buddy spent his childhood in Ewing, New Jersey.

Where did we first meet?

Answer

Lehigh University, freshman year, 2008. We were in the same dorm and Buddy’s room was located right beneath Erin’s (he had the obnoxious habit of throwing a basketball at the ceiling too!).

Where do we live now?

Answer

Jersey City, NJ in an old brownstone apartment with our two cats, Frigg & Otto.

Why Gettysburg?

Answer

After college, when we were both back living in our hometowns, we would plan weekend trips to see each other. Gettysburg is pretty much in the middle of Pittsburgh and Ewing- and who doesn’t like Civil War History? We fell in love with the place.

What is a Cookie Table?

Answer

The cookie table is a Western Pennsylvanian tradition, and a necessity at every Pittsburgh wedding. Thought to have started during the depression, it is customary for family and friends to bake cookies for the newly weds, to be shared at their reception. This certainly isn’t mandatory, but if you’d like to bake (or pick up from your favorite bakery) cookies for our cookie table, please let us know when you RSVP. No matter what, you can expect lots of baked goods- don’t worry, we’ll have to-go bags! :)

While we love your children, we are having an adult ceremony and reception. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! You are welcome to drive, parking will be provided.
