The countdown until our forever is on!

Due to the extreme unprofessionalism and uncertainty of our venues future, we have found a new venue located at Oak & Ivy in Aubrey, TX. The ceremony will now be at 4pm and reception will be from 4:45-9pm. The new location is approximately 30 minutes from the previous venue, so we are hopeful this will not be too much of an imposition on anyone! Tyler and Kathryn met through mutual friends at their favorite dance spot, Cowboys Red River, in October 2017. While Kathryn was talking to her friend Justin, Tyler joined the conversation and asked Justin if she could dance. Kathryn took slight offense to him not asking her directly, but decided to dance with him anyways (she couldn’t resist that smile!). They danced and talked the rest of the evening and have created quite a story ever since.

Tyler took the reins to find and book a photographer (such a sweet man!) for a family photo shoot. Little did she know, he had met up with the photographer prior to the session to plan out a surprise proposal! When they arrived, the session started out like normal and everyone acted like they had just met… Kathryn had NO idea! Soon after starting to take photos though, Tyler disappeared behind some trees with the photographer’s husband. Kathryn didn’t think much of it and continued taking photos with the kids. Once they were done and started to find the guys, Clara took Bennett from Kathryn because she was in on what was about to happen! Kathryn eventually rounded the corner to find Tyler on one knee with a sign behind him saying “will you marry me?” and she was so stunned that she didn’t move and began crying tears of joy. It was an IMMEDIATE YES! To top it all off, Tyler then gave a promise ring to Clara that he would take care of her too. It was a team effort from everyone to make it the best surprise ever and they pulled it off perfectly.
