Alex and I matched on a dating app but it wasn't until two months later that we met. Alex planned a beautiful bike ride at sunset. I tried to keep up and huff minimally as my quads burned while we talked. The bike ride went well and turned into an evening spent chatting away while sipping Mezcal and listening to music by Natalia Lafourcade. After our first few dates, while driving home, I would let out an excited scream. The connection that we felt, the depths we experienced, the way we both were together- it was everything we had hoped was possible and something we'd never experienced before.  The quarantine of 2020 was the most perfect way for our love and connection to grow. Alex cooked incredible meals and played guitar, we read books, hiked in nature, rode bikes, took long walks and worked out. We spent time learning each other and in that process, we learned more about ourselves as well. Being together has called each of us closer to our passions and callings and to the fullest expression of ourselves. This past year has been filled with some of the most fulfilling, rewarding and rich days of our lives. Sometimes we look at each other and exclaim, "CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS IS REAL?!" As we enter into our marriage, we are eager to lay a foundation of unconditional love, acceptance and service to one another and to all beings. Thank you for the love you have shown towards us.
