Wedding Party

Ashley Brown

Maid of Honor

The brides life long best friend. Ashley and Mariah have been best friends since they were 6 years old. They met at church in Sunday school and have been inseparable ever since. Over the years no matter where life has brought them they have continued to be there for each other.

Josiah Fox

Man of Honor

Younger brother to the bride, so she has known him his whole life. The memories are endless and some of the best probably can’t be shared. As they’ve journeyed into adulthood Mariah and Josiah have only become closer and closer to each other. Always reaching out and there for one another! He loves carpentry and thrifting. He’s very talented with his God given gift of singing and music in general. Mariah is so happy to have him beside her on this very special day!

Angelica Benner

Bridesmaid

Their personalities were meant to find each other. Mariah and Ang (as the bride calls her) met in college and just happen to be in almost every class together. And as if that wasn’t enough they worked together as well. I’m sure people thought it was crazy all the more time they spent outside of those things together. Angelica is always there to push Mariah in the best way possible, share psychology memes and jokes with, and she loves how no distance has yet to break their bond of friendship.

Stacie Brandt

Bridesmaid

Stacie and Mariah became fast friends in college. Someone had got them together to run an errand and at the time they weren’t sure they liked each other to begin with.....and then next thing they knew Mariah and Stacie did everything together. A friendship the bride will cherish forever. Stacie has helped Mariah grow so much during their time in college together and they continue to be great friends despite time and distance between them.

Bri Fox

Bridesmaid

Younger sister to the bride. Bri is heading to Word of Life Bible Institute this fall for college. She is a very talented pianist and singer. She is most recently a very proud dog mom to Salty, her adorable Border Collie Chihuahua mix.

Amelia Fox

Bridesmaid

Youngest sister to the bride. Amelia is going into 10th grade and is a very talented artist. She is often in the middle of a craft project, painting, drawing, or whatever mess those things involve. Her creative mind is one of her dearest qualities.

Benjamin Andrews

Best Man

A literal brother in arms and the saltiest of them all. Taylor and Ben first met when they regularly played airsoft in their small group during their teen years but their friendship grew more after Ben's return from an internship in Atlanta. They bonded through common grounds in gaming, pop culture, and above all Jesus Christ. Through times of prayer, biblical study and the difficulties of life they fought for each other no matter what the situation and that remains true to this day

Dan Kolsoi

Groomsman

A scholar, gentleman, and pun master to no end. Dan and Taylor met through Benjamin as they were life long friends. The timeless, meaningful and insightful theological discussions have brought clarity and a weight off each other's shoulders as life came and went. With a shared interest in gaming culture as well their friendship deepened as Superbowl parties and game nights came and went. His family has welcomed the groom with open arms and he truly feels like an extended member of the Kolsoi family.

Christian Cordone

Groomsman

The caffeinated king of one-liners. Christian and Taylor first met one night as he came to a game night hosted in a crammed little appointment on Burnside Ave in Woonsocket. Shortly after getting to know everyone, Christian began his journey to know Christ as his savior. Through countless visits to the Blais house for company, prayer, and comradery Christian quickly became a member of the family. His light-hearted humor and at times grounded perspectives on life are timely and rarely forgotten.

Nathaneal Neuvex

Groomsman

From teacher to equal, Nathaneal is one of two halves that made up Taylor's technical and professional journey. When Taylor was at the age of 15 Nathaneal threw him in front of a light board and has never been the same. As events at Awakening’s Youth ministry grew in size and scale so did the need for time to build stages and learn new cues for the arena-sized events they ran. During those times Nathaneal grew to be also a mentor in the practical places for life and faith with questions that always caused honest thought.

Jacob Abatecola

Groomsman

The little brother Taylor did know he was gonna get. These two may have only known each other for a short while but their friendship grew fast through their common love for tabletop games and other nerdy activities. Both wear their hearts on their sleeves and their conversations only further the bond they share. Nothing says more than laughing at one weird look from either.

Nick Abatecola

Groomsman

Second verse same as the first. A chance meeting at a farewell party and accepting a random invitation to a small group a year later, Nick and Taylor bonded through the word of God and the community found in the Lincoln Panera Bread. Soon after he brought his brother Jacob into the fold. They too bonded over tabletop gaming but as well as sharing the weight of their life experience. Their friendship is a reminder of how the Bible reminds us that we are not to carry our burdens alone.

Pastor Jordan Boyce

Officiant

A dear friend and older brother figure, Pastor Jordan has kept a close relationship with Taylor and his family when they began attending Awakening Church in 2006. Between the evolving landscape of the church to the crisis the groom's family encountered, Pastor Jordan has been present through every moment. Given the role of lead pastor from his father before him, Jordan leads a global ministry out of Smithfield, RI with his wife Samantha and his two children.

Jack Mathews

Ring Bearer

Mariah is Jack’s nanny. Jack is 3.5 years old. He thoroughly enjoys playing imagination and is often a firefighter, a chef, or a pirate. He is also a car and truck enthusiast. Jack is a very happy outgoing little boy and is very excited to be the man in charge of the ring protection service.

Mae Mathews

Flower Girl

Mariah is Mae’s nanny, she is little sister to the ring bearer. Mae is almost 2 and is a spunky little girl who loves everything pink. She loves Frozen and loves listening to music. Mae is often found cooking in her kitchen, looking at books, copying her big brother, and playing with her baby dolls.
