In early 2022, we officially met at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox church in Maine. Initially, we couldn’t stop talking—seriously, countless hours of chat about our faith, our values, and our lives. Effortlessly, we could share the deepest thoughts of our minds and hearts with each other. After a year, we recognized a magnetic companionship, an undeniable connection, and a deep respect fueled by our mutual love for Christ. However, Asha wasn't ready to "officially" date until she received the wisdom and guidance from Gerontissa (Eldress) Olympiada at the Holy Protection Monastery in Pennsylvania. Her advice? “This time [courtship] should be warm. You're making it cold. Keep talking, talking, talking, get engaged and get married - quick." After the visit to the monastery and a quick phone call, we both felt a sense of relief and peace that our deep connection was leading us down the right path, so we kept talking, talking, talking! Fox asked for Asha's parents' blessing, they dated, and he proposed on June 2nd, 2024!
