Getting Around: Loose Mansion is in Midtown, close to downtown and the Plaza. Ride-shares (Uber/Lyft) are reliable, and the KC Streetcar runs free between River Market and Union Station.
Food: For BBQ, we recommend Joe's KC, Arthur Bryant's, or Q39. For something different, we love Westport Café, a cozy French bistro, and Earl’s Premier Oysters.
Nightlife & Music: KC has a rich jazz history and plenty of unique bars. Green Lady Lounge is a classic. The Ship is a fantastic nautically-themed bar in the West Bottoms. Check out The Lowest Ferns down the street when you get kicked out of The Ship. For a good dive bar, head to Chez Charlie, a nice, mellow spot with a jukebox and darts.
Arts & Sights: During the day, stroll through the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, wander Loose Park’s rose garden, or explore the Spanish-inspired architecture of the Country Club Plaza.
