The only thing I was ever completely sure about when dreaming about my wedding growing up was that I needed my sister as my Maid of Honor. I could hardly take a breath between telling her the news of our engagement before following it up with telling her she was going to be my right hand woman on our wedding day (and no, it wasn't a question). From being the best big sister/friend, to my confirmation sponsor, I am so blessed for 'Maid of Honor' to be the next role Anne will be graciously taking on in my life!

It was pretty clear early on, when we spent eleven hours *straight* talking non-stop with each other during our first girl's night, that we had a special connection. Thanks to my future husband who introduced us, we have shared so many laughs and made so many amazing memories over these past 5 years.

When Jean complimented my polka-dot lunchbox on our first day of freshman year, she probably didn't think it would result in a 9 year friendship. From our embarrassing yet hilarious years as teenagers, to our long distance friendship in college, it's safe to say that the Puerto Rico native and I are chicas for life.

My future sister-in-law and good friend. I am looking forward to making many new memories with my second sister in the years to come. What better way to start off those new memories than to have her standing by my side on our big day! I am so grateful to have her, as well as the rest of the Johnsons and the Fowlers in my life. And make sure to look out for her and Wes's sweet little boy, Trip, walking down the aisle as our ring bearer!

From being best friends in high school, to remaining close friends even as a UNC Tarheel and an ECU Pirate, it's safe to say these two are inseparable. It's clear from the way Bryan talks about Demetrios that he is a true friend. Demetrios also has a natural talent of making the simple fun, which means the party never ends with this guy in the room!

Whenever Bryan's brother-in-law/ the unofficial cook of the family is in the room, you know it's going to be a great time. Wes always knows how to brighten a room with his jokes and great personality. He also never fails to whip up a delicious and memorable meal. (Don't get us started on the Low Country Boil he made this past year!) We are so thankful to have him, his wife, Lauren, and their son, Trip, all be a part of our special day.

Friends for over 15 years, Chris and Bryan have been through it all. From meeting in the early days as preschoolers, these two have memories ranging from playing in the woods as young explorers, to being apartment roommates as ECU Pirates. It is easy to tell as an outsider to this friendship how selfless and genuine Chris is. He is truly a great friend to Bryan AND he’s a fellow Cat Dad. What more could someone want in a groomsman?

Random roommate situations don't have a great reputation, but in Steven and Bryan's case it was the perfect match. 6 years later they are still great friends, no matter the distance. We are so grateful to have Steven stand with us on our big day!
