It all started back in high school... We met as teenagers - two kids trying to navigate through the chaos of high school life. Somehow our friend groups crossed paths, and we became best friends. The kind of best friends who talked about everything on the driveway, knew when each other was not okay, to laughing way to hard at the neighborhood park. Now, if you ask Austin, this is where the "friend zone" chapter began. For ten years (yes, really), he played it cool - supportive, patient, and firmly on the sidelines while pretending he was totally fine with just being friends. Life took us in different directions after high school, and we lost touch for a couple years. But during a college break, fate (and maybe a little social media stalking) brought us back together. We met up, caught up on life, and something just clicked - the kind of click that makes you realize the person you were looking for had been there all along. Turns out, timing really is everything. That unexpected reconnection led to late nights talking about work and life, to a first date, which led to a thousand more moments of laughter, love and the realization that we were always meant to be more than friends. Now after all the years, all the memories, and finally escaping the friend zone ... we are getting married!
