We met for our first date at a coffee shop in D.C. We had such a great time at coffee that it turned into a walk over to Georgetown, and then the walked turned into dinner. Throughout the afternoon and evening we exchanged stories and the rest is history.

It was Valentines day and we had plans to go to dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant and to see a show at the Kennedy Center. When we got to the Kennedy Center Maggie was blissfully unaware of what was about to take place. After walking around and grabbing a drink we went out onto the second floor balcony. It was freezing cold, dark, and windy and we were the only ones outside. While Maggie was taking in the view of the Potomac River and Georgetown, Kevin got down on one knee and proposed. Maggie was in shock and here initial response was "wait what!!!!" but once the moment set in she of course said Yes!
