Milford is the largest lake in Kansas. Located about 40 minutes from Manhattan, it is a gorgeous lake to visit. It might be a little cold for jet ski's but they do have boats for rental that you can take for a spin. Don't worry you're allowed to take a cooler! If you would like to have a beer on a patio and over look the beautiful scenery The Cove Bar and Grill is the place you want to go!

If you are interested in learning The Flint Hills Discovery Center is where you want to go. Its a great place for children to explore. Permanent exhibits include " Fire" that covers the ecosystem of the Flint Hills. Looks like the exhibit that will be available during your trip here is " Bison, Wolves & Wildlands."
