FAQs

Question

Where will we stay?

Answer

The resort has many beautiful cabins that can be rented out for the weekend. The minimum booking is two nights and prices vary based on cabin size and how many people will be staying in each cabin. The cabins are not blocked out this year, so please plan the stay quickly if you want to stay at the resort with us. More information is in the travel section of this website.

Question

Can I bring kids to the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! We love kids, just make sure we know how many so we can have enough food for everyone.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

If your invitation has a +1 then we would love for you to bring someone else. If not, we prefer to have you all to ourselves.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

February 1, 2021, is the deadline to RSVP unless you want to sit on the grass and watch us all eat dinner without you ;)

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Zola offers online RSVP responses right here on our website. If you can't get the technology to work just let the bride or groom know that you will be attending. Make sure we know you are officially RSVPing so no one slips through the cracks.

Question

Where is the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on the grassy lawn of the resort, overlooking the lake. The reception to follow will be held inside the resort's lodge.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please let us know ASAP, preferably before January 2021 as this is when we are choosing the menu for the big day.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The short answer is, we don't quite know. The averages for this time of year in Nordman range from lows around 31 and highs around 57. It may rain a bit and it might be breezy. We would advise toward having a light jacket or shawl for the ladies so you don't get too chilly if it is an overcast day. We do not expect the ceremony to be too long, and the reception is indoors but to be on the safe side, I would plan to dress warm since we are right on the water.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal dress ware is preferred. Nice dresses for the ladies or a smart pantsuit. For the guys button-ups or polos are preferred with slacks. Jackets are optional but might be a good idea depending on the weather. For the ladies: the grass will likely be well watered by mother nature so heels might have you sinking into the ground. Comfortable flats are welcome and suggested.

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

If you have rented a cabin, you can park at your cabin and walk to the lodge. You can also park in the lower parking lot right outside of the Lodge. It will only be our wedding party there so there should be plenty of room.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

To those staying at the cabins, you are free to meander over to the lodge whenever. If you want to eat breakfast there before the ceremony please do so before noon as they will shut down food service promptly at 1 pm. To those coming in from somewhere else, I would arrive about 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, so you have some time to mingle but you aren't waiting around too long.

Question

Can I take pictures throughout the day/post on social media?

Answer

Yes absolutely! I would say, please try not to take too many pictures or be obnoxious about picture taking as we will have a photographer there but feel free to snap a few shots throughout the day. Just make sure to use our wedding hashtag when posting on social media: #foundthewrightmorgan

Question

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

With current restrictions, the wedding will be wrapping up at 10pm

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The short answer is no. As much as we love you all, we simply cannot keep up with your amazing livers. As we get more information on just how much we can afford to host, we will update this post but as for now please plan to bring a little extra if you want the happy juice.

Question

Are gifts required?

Answer

Your presence alone is a gift in itself, anything else is simply icing on the cake.

Question

We have questions that haven’t been addressed here – who should we contact?

Answer

Please contact the bride at 501-590-4625 or the groom at 208-640-0467 with additional questions.
