For guests traveling, camp cabins will be available on-site. They're classic camp cabins—simple, cozy, and full of nostalgia. If you'd like to stay overnight, please be sure to indicate that in the RSVP section so we can plan cabin assignments accordingly. Be sure to indicate number of children and adults please. Staying overnight is completely optional, but we'd love for anyone who wants the full Cedarcrest experience to join us.
- Bedding/sleeping bag - Space heater - Pillow - Toiletries - Halloween costume or supplies - Any medications or personal items - Layers for cooler evening temperatures
We want everyone to be comfortable and ready to enjoy the day! Our wedding will take place at Camp Cedarcrest, so while wedding attire is absolutely welcome, please keep in mind that you'll be walking on camp grounds, grass, and uneven surfaces throughout the day. Dressy casual to semi-formal attire is encouraged. Suits, dress shirts, dresses, jumpsuits, and other wedding-appropriate attire are all great choices. Comfortable footwear is strongly recommended. Since our wedding falls on Halloween, costumes are welcome and encouraged! Whether you'd like to incorporate a few festive accessories, dress as your favorite character, or simply stick with traditional wedding attire, we want you to celebrate in whatever feels most fun and comfortable. October in Connecticut can be unpredictable, so we also recommend bringing a light jacket or layer for the evening. Most importantly, come ready to celebrate!
Parking will be available on-site at Camp Cedarcrest. Overnight guests may leave vehicles overnight if staying in a cabin.
Yes! Please be sure to include them in your RSVP.
Yes! We will have basic beer, wine, and spirits (and all the appropriate mixers). If there is something specific, you will need to provide it yourself. We will also have soda, juice, and water available. For dinner, there will be 2 food trucks present. Trust me, you want this kept a surprise. We promise its good! There will also be desert (duh) and ample candy (also duh).
Not at all! We are just saying costumes are going to be encouraged. Wedding attire is a preferred second option, but wear whatever you feel comfortable in because we just want YOU there.
