Fams
If you are looking for a fun, loud, waterfront bar, Fams is the hang for you! Filled with boaters on the weekend, we love the tunes (usually 90's early 2000's) and the staff. The wings and spicy cheese curds are awesome!
C.Y.O.C Create Your Own Cheesecake and Cheesesteak
For a quick bite, though unhealthy, sooooo yummy, this is a fun place we like to grab takeout from. You can build your own cheesecake and cheesesteak. For those of you who know Charlie, cheesecake is his favorite food! Take your yummy eats across the bridge and enjoy at our waterfront park and watch the boats go by. If you have kids, this is a great playground as well.
Volo Bog State Natural Area
For a nice quick hike, head over to Volo Bog. Lots of wildlife and fairly well shaded.
Volo Auto Museum
As seen on TV, the auto museum has some really cool cars from a variety of TV shows, they also have the old Showbiz Pizza gang, a dinosaur exhibit, and a few other very random things. We love the antique mall in the parking lot as well. Charlie likes to hunt for comics there, Lisa likes to hunt for her staging fun.
Chain O'Lakes State Park
This park has kayaks for rental, horseback riding, playgrounds, hiking trails, all sorts of fun stuff. We haven't explored this park much but have heard awesome things and plan to do so soon!!!
