16th Street is a great spot, but all the access points are nice. Parking is free. The water may be a little cold in November, but it's still a beautiful spot to walk at sunrise or after dark. Mike & Lindsay's favorites spots in Jax Beach: - Hot Dog Hut - Another Broken Egg Cafe - Poe's Tavern - George's Music
Jacksonville's Zoo is pretty big and really nice to explore -- especially during the cooler parts of the year! Visit the Jaguars in the South America exhibit, the brand new African Forest exhibit with the great apes, walk through an aviary, and ride the train. The Spooktacular usually runs weekends in October and may still be open the weekend of the wedding.
Plenty of regular and upscale shopping, casual to upscale restaurants. Mike & Lindsay's favorite spots at the St Johns Town Center: - Firebirds - Target - Tesla (seriously, go sit in a Tesla!)
Five Points is an area of Riverside with plenty of restaurants, boutiques, and nearby parks (Memorial Park is where the famous "Life in the River" photographs were taken after Hurricane Irma, five minute walk from Five Points). Mike used to live a few blocks away from Five Points and knows the area well. Mike & Lindsay's favorite spots in Riverside: - Kaika - Ribault Bakery - Fans & Stoves Antique Store - Bold Bean
