Shannon and I met when we worked together at Michaels! She has been my biggest cheerleader along the way! One time, she and a friend wrote a note of encouragement and left it on my car before a first date. Ever since then, Shannon has been my best friend! Over the years, we have been there for each other for the good moments, and the not so great ones too. Shannon has become like a sister to me (even to the point where she *might* be my mom's favorite child!)! As I head into this next step of my life, I cannot imagine anyone better to be by my side!

For the last 20 years, Tim and I have grown really close. Especially since we graduated college. Not only did we grow up together, we both take on the world. Tim is one of the strongest people I know; he always advocates for what is right and fights for everyone around him. Even though Tim and I have separate lives, we always make time for each other no matter the circumstances. When Tim first met Ashley, he welcomed her with open arms and treated her like the sister he never had! As our realtor, Tim searched and searched most of the Chicagoland area when we decided to move in together. Without him, we would not have found our current home! As I get married, I’m thankful to have him by my side! He’s the best brother a man could have!

Michelle (AKA Patschy!) and I met when I was teaching at Greenman Elementary. I had reached out to the staff to see if anyone was interested in joining me at the gym and Michelle was one who responded. We quickly became friends, spending time working out, having the famous "Friday Night at the Patsch's" and impromptu sleepovers when I drank a little too much 😅. Michelle and her husband, Rick, have become my second family in Illinois, taking me in during Holidays, helping me find a car to buy, and monitoring my location when I would go out on dates! There is no way I could celebrate my special day without her by my side!
Jason Farris
Groomsman
Jason is unlike anyone you will ever meet! Between his wacky sense of humor to his Elvis glasses, he is one of a kind. But he is also a great brother. Jason is a cheerleader for all, always there to provide someone with some quip to raise spirits, give encouragement, and praise. The first time he met Nick, he pulled him in a bear hug claiming “We’re a hugging family!” Since that day, Jason has been there to welcome Nick, roast him, and accept him into the family!
Megan Peterman

Megan (AKA Peterman) and I met when I was teaching at Greenman. Over the years, we grew closer as we bonded over reality TV, the perils of online dating, and county music! Between going to the Friends Museum, Cubs games, and just hanging out, we are always laughing! Megan has been alongside me for my relationship with Nick. She was the first person I texted asking for a "dad joke" or "pun" to send him and analyzing texts between us! I could not imagine taking this next step in life without her at my side.
Justin Farris
Groomsman
Justin is Ashley's (not so) Little brother! Growing up, Justin was always my little buddy. I would play school with him, attend sleepovers with him, and we even suffered through Chicken Pox together! One of my favorite memories was of a time when Justin was in trouble; he was looking for a place to hide from our mom. I let him hide under my bed for HOURS until mom had cooled down. By the time he revealed his hiding spot, she couldn't do anything but laugh! As we grew older, we still found time to hang. We both worked at a tutoring center together in High School. He would come party with me and my friends in college. I even reignited his love of LEGOS! While we are not close geographically anymore (with him in NC and us in IL), I know that Justin is always there for me. Nick and I are so glad that he will be at our side as we welcome officially Nick into the family!

Hailee Rose steals everyone’s hearts the minute you meet her! During the pandemic, Hailee spend some time with my parents in North Carolina. Between FaceTime games of Candy Land, Thanksgiving, and a 10 hour car ride home, I grew super close with Hailee! Now, we are able to catch up at family parties and on video chats. I cannot wait to have her be a special part of our wedding day!
