What is the dress code?

Answer

We would LOVE to see our friends and family look good and feel comfortable for our big day! The dress code is semi-formal. This means no blue jeans, no sneakers, or any casual wear. Jackets and ties optional. The ceremony will be held on the lawn (weather depending), proper footwear reccomended.

Can i bring my children?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception adults-only. We encourage you to use this as a date night to relax and have fun! Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a date/guest?

Answer

If your guests name is listed on your invite and when you RSVP, then yes! Your invitation will be made out to “[Your Name and Guest]” if a plus one has been given to you. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation to join us on our big day! Thank you for your understanding!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This just means we are asking that phones and devices are on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture our special day, and we would hate for their shots to have phones in them. After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you would like!

Are there any nearby hotels?

Answer

YES! Under the “Travel” tab on this website you can find a list of hotels in the surrounding area. We have a block of rooms set up at Tru by Hilton Hershey Chocolate Avenue. Please book your room using the code FHW by August 19th to get our group rate!

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

Yes. There will be a shuttle available from Tru by Hilton to take you to the venue. The bus will leave no later than 3:30PM, and will bring you back to the hotel at the end of the night. There is parking available at the venue for those who prefer to drive themselves.

What food will be served and what if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will be having a buffet style dinner. If you have any dietary restrictions, please note that when you RSVP and we will be sure to accommodate those needs!

Will there be any pre/post wedding festivities?

Answer

We will be at Tröegs Independent Brewing at 7:00PM the evening prior to our wedding. We would like to encourage our friends and family to join us in celebrating the start to an exciting weekend. We will be in the lobby of the hotel (Tru by Hilton Hershey Chocolate Avenue) the morning after our wedding, beginning at 8:00 AM until the conclusion of breakfast, and we encourage our friends and family to spend the morning and have breakfast with us!
