"I loved you then, I love you now, I'll love you forever. Nicole, will you Marry me?" A thousand little moments over the past 14 years led up to the moment that Ben proposed to Nicole with his great aunt's ring he had been holding onto for a decade. It's a story for the ages. High school sweethearts who date for four years in high school and college and then went on to not see each other for almost 8 years. Some combination of fate, God, and a meddling sister (thanks, Danielle!) led them to reconnect as adults (thanks, Gavin & Abby!) and the rest is truly history. While we took our time to reconnect and get to know each other again, this time as adults, it was truly a fast fall back into love as we realized we both were still the same people who had fallen in love before. The heart wants what it wants and we could not be more thankful that our lives led us back to each other. Over the past two years we've enjoyed reconnecting with each other's families and friends and enjoying many adventures together! Through exciting moments, like a surprise birthday trip to Napa, and scary moments, like a flooded house, we have easily fallen back into relying on each other to laugh our way through this journey in life and make the most of each day! We are looking forward to the next chapter in our story!
