Hailey and Kevin met in November 2017 on a night out with friends at Tavern on Broad (RIP) in Philadelphia while Hailey was home from school. Hailey was nearly halfway through her senior year at Roanoke College in Virginia and Kevin had just moved to an apartment in the city after graduating from University of Delaware. Sparks flew immediately, but Hailey needed to head back to school. Not one to let a good thing slip away, Kevin promised a real first date when she returned home for Christmas. That first date was met with a surprise guest when Hailey’s Mom, Jen, “accidentally” crashed and met Kevin – promptly pulling Hailey aside and declaring “you’re going to marry that boy”. After counting down the days until Spring Break, Hailey couldn’t wait any longer and flew back to Philly early – that’s when their love became official, and the rest is history.

After five wonderful years together, and having settled into their home in Collingswood, NJ, Kevin planned a day Hailey would never forget. He took her to PJ Clarke’s in Washington Square Park for a special brunch. During brunch, a hostess, sensing something magical, asked if they were celebrating anything special, mentioning that they had a certain glow about them. Little did Hailey know what was coming next. After brunch, Kevin led her to the historic and beautiful 18th-century garden they had stumbled upon during the pandemic. With the garden's beauty surrounding them, Kevin took Hailey’s hand, dropped to one knee, and asked her to spend forever by his side. They celebrated the unforgettable moment with friends and family at Independence Beer Garden, making the day even more special. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
