The first time we met was at my sister's birthday party. Joey was her coworker and I had heard about him many times. The first time I saw him I thought he was cute. We got to talking at the party and ended up spending the whole two hours just sitting in the corner getting to know each other. Little did I know that once I got to talk to him more, he would turn out to be the man of my dreams. Our first date was to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and it was unlike anything I had ever experienced. This led to many more dates and to the most amazing relationship. After many adventures, time, energy, love, and a lot of grace, we made it to where we are today and we are so grateful for every step God has urged us to take.

Joseph took Hannah on a little kayak across her favorite lake in her favorite place in Colorado and the whole world. They paddled to the other side, getting drenched but loving every second of it. Their giggles followed them to the shore where Joey had set up a blanket, candles, and her best friends taking pictures in the bushes nearby. There, he got on one knee and Hannah screamed YES!

Joey and I love to be out in nature. From taking a hike with our golden retriever or just having a picnic in a park, we love every moment of our time in God's beautiful world. We also love to bake and cook! Waffles are always a favorite! We love to listen to music together and especially love to spend a lot of time reading and praying together.
