Morgan and Foster met in January of 2015 in Seattle, Washington when they were placed on the same co-ed rec soccer team. Foster started giving Morgan rides to and from the games, which turned into getting food and hanging out after the games and eventually their first official date to the Seattle Art Museum. They were both new to living in the city and had so much to explore together while they got to know each other. Morgan was studying for her BFA at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle and Foster was starting his first corporate videographer job in Bellingham. The two hour drive did not stop the two from seeing each other as much as possible. They seeked outdoor adventure, grew to love the local Subaru scene, continued playing soccer, and fell more and more for each other. In the spring on 2018, Morgan's college graduation was quickly approaching and it was time for the couple to decide what was next. They were both ready for a change of scenery and decided to give Iowa (where Foster was born) a try. They were so glad they did!! After a fabulous year downtown in a loft style apartment, they were in love with the city and decided they were probably going to stay a while. They found an adorable 1930's brick fixer upper just south of downtown to call home. Two weeks of pulling staples out of the floor turned into two years of never ending projects. The challenge of fixing up the house made them even stronger as a team. Today they are so proud of the home they have created together. In June of 2020 they brought home a little Yorkie puppy named Ray. He quickly stole their hearts and became the cornerstone of the family dynamic. In April of 2021 the couple was visiting San Diego and during a trip to Coronado Beach, Foster was acting nervous... They decided to set up the phone to take a picture together to remember the day. Morgan was looking around at birds while Foster set up the camera. She turned and there he was on ONE KNEE. Foster asked Morgan to marry him and she absolutely said YES! Cheers to forever F+M.
