We're getting married

We met while both working part time at Lowes home improvement as cashiers. Now I had already had my eye on this southern talking, long haired man. I was in training and Aaron came to relieve my trainer for her break. His first words to me were "UHH I don't train new people." He hovered as I was checking out a customer in lumber, I of course was trying my best not to mess it up. Afterwords he asked why I had come to work at Lowes, with a little bit of an attitude. I responded that I was just finishing nursing school so I wasn't staying long before getting a job as an RN. I think he was a tad insulted haha like I was trying to brag, which I wasn't because he responded "Well I'm also a Diesel Mechanic!" I decided to be a tad sassy as well and answered with "WELL GOOD FOR YOU!" And we have been together ever since! I had left the hospital for a short time and jokingly told my mom, I am going to go to Lowes, sell Christmas trees and meet my future husband. Well, it worked. And now I tell everyone I bought my future husband Lowes (and also got the extended warranty)

I was becoming slightly impatient awaiting Aaron's proposal (maybe a little more that slightly) I was just so ready, like dude lets get married! I think I may have pestered him just a little. I finally let it go, and then of course it happened Aaron knows I have a small Christmas obsession (maybe a little but more than small) so he chose to pop the question on Christmas morning under the tree! I walked out of our bedroom and he is digging under the tree, I told him to stop messing with the presents, and to let me get my coffee first. He spins out from under the tree and is on one knee, with ring in hand and asked "Well I was just wondering if you wanted to love me forever?" My answer.... "WELL YA!" It was not only the perfect proposal for us, but also the perfect Christmas. I don't think that one will ever top this last one!
