They say love will find you when you least expect it. “The love story of Eric and I started with the most modern of gestures: swiping right on a smartphone,” says Kayla. My college roommate introduced me to a dating app called Bumble. Eric was Kayla's first swipe on the app, match, and a week later he asked me on a date and we've been together ever since!

Eric proposed on September 26th, 2019, just a couple days prior to his 29th birthday. We had talked about marriage before, just wasn't sure when it would come. He had asked for my family's blessing months prior and even had my best friend and cousin in on the biggest decision --- the ring! On this day, I had texted him to let him know I was leaving work early and going home to rest. Little did I know that he had picked the ring up from the jeweler that morning and had left the bag on our bed, knowing he normally gets off work sooner then me so he'd have time to find a place to hide it. He races home to make sure I don't see the ring and when I walk in, he is pacing back and forth. A few moments later, he's down on one knee asking me to marrying him and I of course, said yes! We can't wait to share the most special day with the ones we love most!
