The story of us goes a little something like this...We met in HS and had some of the same friends, however neither of us knew much about one another until a lot later in life. Kyle graduated HS and worked with his brother Jason and dad Stan building homes. Kayla finished HS online and graduated while working with her dad Dan at Viesko Ready Mix. We ran into each other every now and again from time to time as the years passed. Friend's homes, birthday parties, Detroit, Woodburn dragstrip...so on as life continued to keep moving forward. Over the years we both went through trials and tribulations. Something we later bonded over. Then it was 2018, the year that connected us. Our group of friends went through a tragic loss in August. This loss brought our friends group closer, including us. We took things slow, fast and somewhere in between. Kayla had two children. Isiah who was 7 and Eva who was 1. Those children were/are the center of her whole world. Over several weeks Kayla, Isiah and Eva attended birthday's, summer BBQ's and boating. During these events Isiah and Eva built an indescribable bond with Kyle. Suddenly those children became the center of Kyles whole world. We often talked about our future, getting married, having another child, moving to a bigger home on property, going on family trips, the list goes on. Little to our surprise our family was already growing. March 3rd, 2020 we welcomed our son Kyson into this world. He was the missing puzzle piece to our 5tribe and completed our family. We moved into a bigger home and bought a travel trailer. Everything was falling into place seamlessly. January 31st, 2021 we headed to the snow. The kids played all day and had a blast. Towards the end of the day Kyle pulled Kayla to the side in an opening. He handed Kyson to his big brother Isiah. Got down on one Knee and asked Kayla to marry him. Of course she said "Yes!"
