Maid of Honor
Liz and Hannah first met when they were 21 and 17, respectively. They bonded fast over their love of musicals (RENT specifically), Grey's Anatomy, and karaoke. Over the years they've seen each other through incredible highs and devastating lows. Liz considers her not only her best friend, but her person. Now with kids and a husband of her own, Hannah is the one Liz goes to for advice and the one she looks to as a stunning example of an loving wife and incredible mom. When Liz got engaged she couldn't wait to tell Hannah right away and knew even before the question was popped that Hannah would be the one standing by her side on her wedding day as her Maid of Honor.
Bridesmaid
Liz and Jeanne first met when Liz was 17 and looking for a job. She applied at a new restaurant in town called Downtown Deli. Jeanne's family owned (and still owns) that deli. And it didn't take long for the roles to shift from employer/employee to friends who hung out constantly and drank many a vodka lemonade. Now, 18 years later, Liz considers Jeanne one of her best friends and can't imagine life without her wisdom, laughter, and of course lazy sundays spent on her couch watching either Friends or How I Met Your Mother.
Bridesmaid
Liz and Ryan met while working together at the Downtown Deli 18 years ago. They became friends right away and spent countless nights at Ryan's apartment drinking beers, having heart to hearts, laughing so hard they couldn’t breath, and listening to music all night. Ryan has introduced Liz to so much amazing music over the years. Liz doesn't know what she'd do without her "mama" by her side on her wedding day.
Bridesman
Liz and Gil met 13 years ago while working together at Blockbuster Video. He always made her laugh with his crazy antics and she always made sure he had enough to eat. And while they don't get to see each other as often as they'd like to, every time they get together it's like no time has passed at all. Gil still makes Liz laugh and Liz still wonders if he's getting enough to eat. Liz values Gil's friendship tremendously and knew she could count on him to be an amazing bridesman.
Bridesmaid
Liz and Marcie technically met while both attending Parker elementary school in the early 90's, but it wasn't until years later when Marcie and Liz's older brother, Alex, fell in love that they would be reacquainted and become friends. They have since shared countless laughs, stories, home-cooked meals, nights out, drinks, and evenings spent playing games until the wee hours.
Bridesmaid
Liz's sister-in-law, Katarina, has been such a wonderful addition to the family. She often jokes that it's the best decision her little brother Andrew ever made. Katarina is a sweet, thoughtful, loving soul and Liz knew right away that they would be more than just sisters, they'd be great friends. Liz is thrilled to have Katarina standing with her on her wedding day and she cannot wait until the day that they're raising little cousins together.
Best Man
Ricky's older brother and immediate first choice to be best man and to stand beside him on his wedding day.
Groomsman
Ricky and Jeremy became fast friends at a very young age because they lived around the corner from each other. They had the ideal childhood filled with laser tag battles, manhunts in the woods, GI Joe wars, Dungeons & Dragons, and video games on the Apple IIe (where Ricky was officially known as "Dicky from Canada"). They were inseperable all the way through high school and even though college took them in different directions, they remained close. And every time they get together it's as if no time has passed at all. Jeremy considers Ricky a great friend and he is elated that he found his true love.
Groomsman
Ricky and Erik met 20 years in New Brunswick and have since made up one of the most formidable rhythm sections in rock history. From NJ to the California coast and back again, their groove has been unrelenting and irresistable. They have a mutual admiration for extremely long field goal attempts and Tastee Subs, which has helped form a bond even Joe Buck might have a loss of words for.
Groomsman
Ricky and Mike met many stolen years ago, surrounded by local police. And despite their best efforts, they could not even begin to sully the gorgeous and inspiring friendship that grew before them. According to Mike, "Ricky is a beautiful man. Also kind, graceful, good-smelling. He is elegant yet strong; a delicate flower wrapped in Kevlar©; easily in the Top 50 people with whom I would rob a bank (blood, food, or otherwise). He is both grand and brave, which are words I have historically reserved only for Cher."
Groomsman
Ricky and Paul met in 1998, while Paul was looking for a getaway driver for an Oceans 11 style breaking and entering. Paul has said that since Ricky was ride or die from the get go, he knew they were onto something good. Giving up a life of crime, they took to playing music together for the next 20 years instead.
Groomsman
Andrew is Liz's younger brother and hit it off with Ricky right away. He and his wife Katarina have spent many nights with Ricky and Liz either bbqing in their yard and playing beer pong or playing games inside well into the night with plenty of spirits to go around. They've bonded over video games, movies and tv shows, perfecting cocktail recipes, and of course karaoke.
Officiant
Frank was Ricky's roomate when he and Liz got together and has been good friends with both for years. He has been ordained via the magical world wide web for 6 years and when Ricky and Liz got engaged, they knew there was only one person they wanted officiating their wedding.
