In 2009, Nina and Matt met in the dorms at Western Michigan University. Go Broncos! Matt was on the first floor and Nina was on the third floor of LeFevre Hall. Their chemistry was strong, and they became close throughout that year but went their separate ways when the year was over. Matt took a break from school, and Nina decided to join a sorority and move into the sorority house. They assumed they would probably never see each other again. Two years later, Nina left the sorority and moved into a house with 7 of her best friends (DAMNSAK!) Fate brought them back together because coincidentally, Matt was Nina’s new neighbor and their relationship began once again. The rest is history!
This past summer, we went on a Bianchi family vacation to San Diego. Nina kept thinking that Matt would propose at some of the multiple different romantic spots that they visited throughout the trip, but he never did. Deep down, Nina was pretty annoyed. On the very last night, Nina's dad made a delicious dinner, and everyone was enjoying the dinner outside and taking in the last moments of vacation together. Nina noticed that Matt was not eating his dinner, which is very unusual for Matt, and she started giving him a hard time. He said he just was not hungry. A few minutes later, he popped the question in front of Nina's family and of course, she said "YES!" Don't worry; Matt was able to finally relax then and enjoy his dinner. :-)
