When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Though RSVP's would be appreciated as soon as possible, the official deadline is Monday, June 2, 2025. This date falls 2 months before the big day! You can RSVP here on the website or contact us directly. If you have not RSVP'd by the specified date, we will assume you are not coming and will mark you down as "not attending"

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that guests wear Semi-Formal attire! This attire strikes a balance between casual and formal, offering guests a chance to dress up without being overly formal. For women, think midi dresses, a dress shirt with dress pants or skirt, and dressy flats, heals or wedges! For men, suits are acceptable, as are dress shirts with or without a tie, and a classy pair of dress shoes. Please keep in mind that it is the August long weekend and it will more than likely be 30-35 above and the ceremony is outside. Please refrain from wearing denim and white. If it helps, our wedding colors are dark red, dark blue, dark green, and gold, so feel free to use those colors as well!

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we have a set guest list to stay within our budget, and our celebration is by RSVP only. Only those indicated on your invitation will be able to be accommodated!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love the little ones in our lives, our celebration is adults only. Think of our wedding as a "date night"!

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! At the University of Lethbridge guests are to park in Parking Lot S, and at Paradise Canyon guests are free to park in either of the parking lots. Please note that while there is plenty of parking at the University, there is minimal parking at Paradise Canyon, as it is still a public business that has other patrons utilizing the facility.

Where is the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is located at the University of Lethbridge Science Commons, out on the patio! The address is 1 Coulee Trail, Lethbridge, AB T1K 6T5. When parking in Parking Lot S, you will come in the main doors at the front of the building, head down the flight of stairs and turn left at the bottom! You will be able to see the chairs set up outside for our event.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To ensure the ceremony goes off without a hitch, we recommend that you arrive to the ceremony no later than 2:15PM, as the ceremony is to start at 2:30PM. This gives guests ample time for parking and finding your seat.

There is time between the Ceremony and Reception, what do I do?

Answer

We recommend checking out some local businesses around our city! Guests are also able to explore and check out the incredible Science Common's building where our ceremony is being held. We also recommend having a snack during this break in the day as dinner will be at 5:30PM (roughly).

Where is the Reception?

Answer

The reception is located at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort! The address is 185 Canyon Blvd W, Lethbridge, AB T0K 0T0. When entering the main doors at the front of the building, make a right and it will take you into the reception dining room!

What time should I arrive at the Reception?

Answer

Guests are to arrive at the reception no later than 5:00PM! The Newlyweds will be arriving shortly after 5. We will be eating dinner at approximately 5:30PM!

Is there an Open Bar?

Answer

Short answer - Absolutely not. There will be a Cash Bar for our guests to enjoy. There will also be plenty of non-alcoholic drinks as well!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Lethbridge is a small town with no hotels on the west side of the city, where both the ceremony and reception are located. Under the travel tab, there will be a few hotels we recommend!

Is the Wedding outside or inside?

Answer

The ceremony is outside on a shaded patio and the reception is inside!

Answer

Your presence is more than enough and we appreciate all of you who will be joining us. If you do wish to give us a gift, we'd appreciate a contribution to our honeymoon fund!
