We met on Hinge in April 2022. Dave sent Diana a message asking about her top five favorite movies. We shared none of the same favorites, but we kept chatting anyway. We had our first date at Il Canale, an Italian restaurant in Georgetown. Dave thought Diana was awkward and Diana hesitated when Dave talked about his cat, Joey. Dave stayed with Diana even though she dramatically ended up in the ER during our first vacation together, and Diana stayed with Dave even though he made out with another woman in front of her (on stage -- he's an actor). We got engaged in June of last year on the day we moved in together. Three and a half years later, Diana is still awkward and Dave is still a cat guy...but he's succeeded in turning Diana into a cat lady. We're thrilled to celebrate our wedding with you at The Mansion on O Street, an incredibly unique and quirky venue and one of our favorite spots in the city. Our two tabbies, Joey and Chloe, will be there in spirit.
