How we met.

4/23/2019

Forrest and Trey both grew up in Knoxville and attended East Tennessee State University. Trey was an All American baseball player and Forrest was Kappa Delta Homecoming Queen but their paths never crossed. Fast forward to 2019, both of them were back in their home town and mutual friends introduced them. One of Forrest's sorority sisters is married to Trey's college teammate and their world's collided (S/O Kayla and Kerry). Their first date was to Abridged brewery where people were playing trivia. They were talking so much they didn't even participate. Forrest called her sisters Camille and Macey and was gushing about the entire date- she loved his "swag," the way he told stories, and how she was able to be her complete self. When Trey got home to his roommates he couldn't stop ranting about how hilarious and easy she was to be around. Forrest cured Trey's shyness and he knew she was exactly what he had been looking for. Their love story comes full circle when Trey decided to propose to Forrest in Johnson City, so now their favorite memory there is one they share together.

Our Proposal.

11/03/2019

It was Homecoming weekend in Johnson City, Forrest had Dental Hygiene events and Trey had teammates to see. Trey had convinced Forrest that the weekend would have no surprise endings so she was completely clueless when he popped the question! They were on their way to meet up with their friends for breakfast at "a new restaurant that just opened downtown." (S/O Jordan & Courtney) While walking towards the "restaurant", Trey stopped Forrest under the Johnson City sign and explained that both of them made many separate memories during their time at ETSU and that he wanted to create one they would share together forever. (For obvious reasons this secured the top spot in each of their memory banks.) She said "YESS!!" and they headed back to Knoxville. Shortly following their arrival in Knoxville Trey made an unexpected pit-stop at the mall so Forrest could pick out a fancy outfit for their surprise engagement party where Trey & Forrest celebrated their love with all their closest friends and family. BEST DAY EVER!
