We were friends first! We worked together for two years before realizing God's plan for us. We began dating in the summer of 2015 and continued to grow in our friendship. Over the past five years, we have learned how to care for each other, support one another, have fun together, and much more. We have grown in our faith together, our shared cultures, and shared a ton of small apartments. We're excited for this next chapter in our lives together, one that we know will come with hurdles and will require patience and strong communication. However, we look forward to creating a big family filled with love and generosity. We welcome you to join us in this journey of life!

On August 2nd, 2015, it was the first day that we said, "I love you." Five years later, on the same day, Forrest proposed to Marianna. What began as a typical anniversary dinner at Chicago Prime Steakhouse, ended with a surprise private helicopter tour of the Chicago lakefront. Initially, the pilot told Forrest that it would have to be a quick trip because a storm was coming and he wouldn't of flown if it wasn't a proposal flight. As the helicopter passed by where we met for the first time, in that moment, Forrest proposed. Afterwards, Forrest told the pilot that Marianna said yes over the intercom and the pilot responded in relief, "Thank God, lets get out of here!" While the helicopter was landing we could see the rain in the distance and made it in time to see a rainbow.
