Question
What time do the events start?
Answer
On Friday, the welcome party starts at 6:00 pm but people will be coming and going at different times throughout the night. We will have some speeches around 7:30 or so. On Saturday, the wedding ceremony starts at 4:30pm. Please plan to arrive by 4:15pm. There is no event on Sunday.

What is the dress code for the wedding weekend?

Friday Welcome Party: Beach Attire: short-sleeved button downs, pants, sundresses, and sandals or wedges. This event will be outdoors on the lawn and beach, weather permitting! Saturday Wedding: Black-Tie Optional: Tuxes or suits for men (with tie or bowtie) and long or midi length dresses for women. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors.

Is transportation provided for the weekend?

We will be providing complimentary shuttle services for the weekend since Ubers/taxis are hard to come by in South Haven! See below for schedule - note that buses will leave promptly, so please be on time! Welcome Party on Friday: There will be a central parking lot at First Congregational Church that you can walk or drive to with a shuttle that will bring you to the welcome party location (due to limited parking). The shuttle will begin at 5:45 pm and will return every ~15 minutes or so continuously. Parking Lot Location: United Church of Christ - First Congregational Church, 651 Phoenix St, South Haven, MI, 49090 ------- Wedding Shuttle Schedule: 3:40pm - Pick-ups at 805 Monroe Blvd and 828 Wilson Street. 3:50pm - Pick-ups at 718 Hiways Avenue and Hotel Nichols. 4:00pm - Pick-ups at Country Inn & Suites and Inn at the Park. Shuttle buses will make return trips to all pick-up locations after dinner, from 9:00pm to 12:00am. At midnight once the event concludes, one of the shuttle buses will take guests to the beach condo for a bonfire afterparty, and the other shuttle will take guests back to all needed locations. The afterparty will conclude at 2:00am, and the shuttle will take guests back to select locations as well.
