It’s happening!

Nelson and Maria are getting married? Trust me we still don't believe it at times . Who would’ve thought 10 years after high school , they would be celebrating their marriage with friends and family . If we go back to their high school days, they went from acquaintances to friends where Nelson would run hallway passes with Maria & until this day he will say “ he was medically excused from gym.” After they graduated in 2012, they remained in contact periodically including having conversations on how great or "not so great daters they were" ( which clearly were unsuccessful) . Fast forward to 2018, he asked her to hang out one night and well, the rest was history.

Nelson convinced Maria they were going to a Mexican Restaurant for his family's last dinner while visiting New York. On the way there, Maria of course was looking at the menu getting ready to order once they arrived, little did she know that was going to change. While walking towards the party room, the lights went on, balloons were let go spelling out " marry me?" and family and close friends were ready to capture the next step into their relationship. Maria turned around looking at Nelson ( who was pretty nervous himself) and well if you saw the video, lets just say Maria couldn't stop hyperventilating... but in the mix of things she said YES! ( oh and neither one of them ended up eating that afternoon)
