Well if you want the short story he broke up with me in the fourth grade, decided he made a horrible decision, realized I was the love of his life, then asked me out again junior year and the rest was history. Just kidding, although he did break my fourth grade heart. Besides knowing each other our entire school careers, Carter and I were always just friends, besides that one time in fourth grade. Our junior summer, during COVID, our families had decided to start camping together. One of these trips happened to be Chewacala State Park in Auburn. Ever since that trip we were attached at the hip. On Valentines Day in 2020, he asked me to be his girlfriend after a romantic date at Applebee's. Almost five years later he took me back to the exact same waterfall at Chewacala where it all started to ask me to marry him!
